Hi, I’m Zach!
Zach Whelton is a native-born resident of Colorado who grew up in the parish boundaries of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Arvada, Colorado.
Zach works at Mt. Olivet cemetery on the grounds maintenance team. Through much prayer and with the help of other faithful men in his life, Zach has discerned a calling to the priesthood!
While Zach is in the application process for Saint John Vianney Theological Seminary to study for the Archdiocese of Denver, he has chosen to live at Mission House Denver in order to grow deeper in his relationship with Christ and to be formed to be a mission-hearted servant-leader in order to prepare for his time in seminary, and ultimately, for his priesthood!
Unfortunately, like many other young men, Zach has a particular barrier to entry - before Zach can enter seminary, he must be free of personal debt.
If you'd like to sponsor Zach’s formational journey and help to offset his cost of living at Mission House Denver so that he can allocate more of his income to paying off his debt, you can make a one-time or monthly donation below!
Zach will not receive these funds personally, they will be a donation to Mission House Denver, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. These contributions will be tax deductible, and you will receive no goods or services in return. Once our fundraising goal of $10,000 for sponsoring Zach’s cost of living is met, the donation function below will be disabled so that no funds in excess of this specific purpose will be collected.
